Background Information on Jeffrey Barber

I was born in Kansas City and grew up in Overland Park, KS. I went to college at Kansas State University where I earned a degree in Mathematics and another degree in Computer Science.

I went into graduate school in Mathematics. I loved graduate school, so I decided to live there, and I lived in the Computer Science building (Nichols Hall). I had all the credits needed and working on my thesis regarding NP != P (using Galois Theory, don't ask).

Then I decided that I needed money (reading Atlas Shrugged kind of helped in that regard), so I dropped out of graduate school and built a company with a friend from High School. We tried something epic that no one else has done yet, and then we watched it die. After that company, We built another company with old and new friends. This company survived the crazy economy and went from zero to hero fast.
